About the OA
Troop 26 is getting active in the Order of the Arrow again. 26 is a member
of the Eagle Chapter of the Ta Tsu Hwa Lodge. It's been years since any of our
scouts were chapter officers. Thee are three chapter offices and right now
those positions are all three held by Troop 26 Scouts. Eagle Scout Zach Vetal
is chapter Chief, Eagle Scout Gary Fennema is Chapter Vice-Chief, and Life Scout
Casey Keilbarth is Chapter Secretary.
When you are elected into the Order of the Arrow, you are first an Ordeal
candidate. You go to your Ordeal campout with the Lodge after being voted in to
the OA by your troop. After completing your Ordeal campout, you are an Ordeal
member of the OA. After ten months as an Ordeal member, you can seal your
membership in the OA by becoming a Brotherhood Member.
