The Troop 26 Scouting Museum is one of the largest collections of scouting-related memorabilia, photographs, awards, and artifacts in the central U.S. The full museum can be viewed roughly twice a year at our Courts of Honor (See Troop Calendar). The online museum is meant to bring you a piece of that history at home through photos and videos, and to commemorate individuals who have helped make Troop 26 great.
It takes great leadership for a troop as large as Troop 26 to flourish and create an environment that encourages scouts to complete the rigorous requirements to earn the rank of Eagle. The Virtual Museum is dedicated to the many people who have been a part of making Troop 26 the gold standard when it comes to scouting.
The SPL Wall of Fame recognizes the youth leaders who have stepped into the role of Senior Patrol Leader. Visit the SPL Wall of Fame to see the list of outstanding scout leaders who, after being elected by a vote of their peers (scouts only), stepped up to take on the most challenging leadership position within the troop. These young men have left a lasting mark and legacy through their service to the troop.
The Hall of Ancients is dedicated to former members who made a lasting impression on the troop through their service. These individuals have passed away and will be greatly missed. This is our dedication to them. Currently included in the Hall of Ancients are:
- Dick Austin
- Bill Baumgartner
