This patch is awarded to the truest members of our troop: those who attend winter campouts. During the winter term, as the school year sets in and conflicts, harsh, cold weather, and other lame excuses pop up left and right, campout attendance often thins dramatically. Those who continue to attend these campouts regularly are the true backbone of our troop. The Heidorn Award is given only to those who attend every winter campout in a single fall/winter term: September, October, November, December, January, and February consecutively.
