Join Troop 26

Are you considering joining Troop 26? There are a lot of great reasons to consider joining Troop 26, but you should carefully consider whether Troop 26 is right for you. First of all, you need to make sure that you meet the qualifications for joining a boy scout troop.

Membership Requirement: Be a boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old.

Typically speaking, that’s really the only requirement for joining a boy scout troop. However, Troop 26 is different. The boys in Troop 26 are special. They didn’t join Troop 26 just to be part of another organization. They are goal-oriented young men focused on challenging themselves to achieve the highest levels of scouting. They are focused on developing their personal character, scouting skills, and leadership skills. Troop 26 scouts strive to be the best. They are not afraid to commit to taking on difficult tasks that challenge their mental or physical toughness and scouting skills. Troop 26 scouts are truly special!

The drive of Troop 26 scouts is the reason that Troop 26 has over 675 Eagle Scouts, more than any other boy scout troop in America! Troop 26 scouts are successful because, as a boy-led troop, they are focused on helping one another to be successful, providing encouragement to their fellow scouts throughout their entire scouting career. The troop’s boy-led leadership is anchored with the Leadership Corp (LC). The LC is a group of scouts who have have earned their Eagle Award and continue their scouting career by providing training, leadership, and encouragement to the younger scouts as they work towards the rank of Eagle themselves. In addition, Troop 26 has a solid foundation of adults who provide support and resources to the troop to help make Troop 26 a world-class organization.

As you consider the reasons why you should join Troop 26, consider this:
